Viola May, (Seymour3, Rebecca2, John1) was the oldest child of Seymour L. and Cassie B. Burroughs. She was born July 23, 1865, at Dunkirk, N. Y. She removed with her parents to Lafayette, Ind., in 1870, where she attended school, graduating from the high school.
She was married Jan. 29, 1884, to Harry J. Putt, of Harrisburg, Pa. He was born Aug. 27, 1858 in Goldsboro, Pa.
After their marriage they went to Decatur, Ill., where they resided 1884-1885. They resided for short periods in Lafayette, Ind., Jersey City, N. J., Newark, Del. In 1893 they moved to New York City and their home has since been at 1017 Trinity Ave., Bronx Borough. Mrs. Putt is a member of Grace Baptist Church, Bronx Borough.

Hazel B. (Viola4, Seymour3, Rebecca2, John1) is the oldest daughter of Viola May and Harry J. Putt. She was born April 27, 1886, at Lafayette, Ind. In 1893 her parents moved to New York City. She graduated from the public schools in that city. She is a member of Grace Baptist Church. By occupation she is a milliner. Her home is with her parents at 1017 Trinity Ave., New York City.
Helen R., (Viola4, Seymour3, Rebecca2, John1) second daughter of Viola May and Harry J. Putt, was born Nov. 12, 1887, at Jersey City, N. J. The family went to reside in New York City in 1893 and she gained her education in the public schools there, graduating from the high school in 1902. She was a stenographer and private secretary by profession and was engaged in her work until her health failed. She died at Wormleysburg, Pa., Jan. 6, 1913.
Miss Putt was a member of Grace Baptist Church, New York City.
