Marion Jane Davis (Seymour3, Jane2, John1) began her earthly career on a farm near Sheboygan Falls, Wis., on Oct. 18, 1847. When she was three years old her father moved to Cass Co., Mich. Her childhood was spent on the farm and she attended the district school. She united with the M. E. church and by her faithful, consistent christianity proved the sincerity of her profession of faith. On Oct. 15, 1868, she was joined in marriage to Winfield T. Long. A few years later her husband moved to Gobleville, Mich., where he engaged in the commission business. Here Mrs. Long died Aug. 19, 1881.

Rolla David Long (Marion4, Seymour3, Jane2, John1) was born Oct. 2, 1872, in ____, Mich. His boyhood was spent there and in Gobleville and Vicksburg, Mich. He writes: "I am not a graduate of either high school or college, but received a common school education in Vicksburg. I have lived in Chicago since 1889. Previous to 1901 I was engaged with my father in the commission business. Since 1901 I have been engaged in filling orders from country dealers for fruits and vegetables. I carry on business under the name of 'W. T. Long's Son.' I am not a member of any fraternal organization, and never held an office of any kind. I am unmarried."

Emma Rosella Long (Marion4, Seymour3, Jane2, John1) was born Dec. 31, 1875, in ____, Mich. She attended common school at Vicksburg, Mich. In 1889 her father removed with his family to Chicago, Ill. She was married on Dec. 8, 1896, to Albert E. Beebe, who was born Dec. 1, 1873. Their home is in Harvey, a suburb of Chicago.
