Minerva Davis Bothwell

Harriet Minerva Davis (Seymour3, Jane2, John1) had her birth in Cass Co., Mich., Feb. 19, 1853. Reared in a Christian Home she early became a Christian, and united with the M. E. church. Her childhood and youth were spent in Michigan. In 1870 her father moved to Blue Rapids, Kan. Here on Jan. 17, 1872, she became the wife of Joseph Earle Bothwell. He was born in London, England, Nov. 20, 1845, and was a mason by trade.

Minerva Davis Bothwell was a healthful, active girl, but sickness came upon her in later life and for several years she was a helpless invalid. She died Feb. 9, 1894. The home of her family is in Blue Rapids, Kan.

Pearl Bothwell Fox

Pearl Harriet Bothwell, (Minerva4, Seymour3, Jane2, John1) daughter of Minerva Davis and Joseph Bothwell, was born on her father's farm near Blue Rapids, Kansas, on Sept. 4, 1874. She graduated from the schools at Blue Rapids in 1893, and taught school for a short time. She went to Chicago, Ill., where she was married to Charles L. Fox on Thanksgiving day, 1900. Their home is in Chicago. They have no children.

Maud Estelle Bothwell

Maude Estelle (Minerva4, Seymour3, Jane2, John1) is the third daughter of Minerva D. and Joseph Bothwell. She was born near Blue Rapids, Kan. and graduated from the schools there in 1896. She spent a few years with her sister in Chicago. She is unmarried and her home is with her father in Blue Rapids.

Julia Alice Bothwell

Julia Alice, (Minerva4, Seymour3, Jane2, John1) daughter of Minerva D. and Joseph Bothwell, had her birth on the farm near Blue Rapids, Kan., on May 26, 1879. Her father moved to Blue Rapids when she was a few years old and she attended school there but did not graduate. She is her father's housekeeper and like him, is deeply interested in the work of the International Bible Students' Association of which they are members.

Jennie Bothwell Warders

Jennie Ethel Bothwell (Minerva4, Seymour3, Jane2, John1) was born Oct. 2, 1881, near Blue Rapids, Kansas. She graduated from the schools there in 1900. She taught school for three years. On April 6, 1904, she was married to Horace Greely Warders. Their home is three miles from Blue Rapids.

Joseph Earle Bothwell, Jr.

Joseph Earl Bothwell (Minerva4, Seymour3, Jane2, John1) was born in Blue Rapids, Kan., June 31, 1886. He graduated from the high school in 1904. He then learned the jeweler's trade and now has a jewelry store in Enterprise, Kan. He is fond of athletics and is a player of baseball and football. He is unmarried.

Hobart Hayes Bothwell

Hobart Hayes Bothwell (Minerva4, Seymour3, Jane2, John1) is the youngest of the children of Minerva D. and Joseph Bothwell. His birthplace was Blue Rapids, Kan., and date of birth, Oct. 10, 1890. Before he had finished the high school course he went to learn the trade of jeweler and he was thus engaged in 1911.
