Ai Seymour Davis

Ai S., (Seymour3, Jane2, John1) only son of Seymour and Harriet Davis, first saw the light on June 24, 1849, in Sheboygan Falls, Wis. Not satisfied with conditions there, he removed the next year to Jefferson Township, Cass Co., Mich. His years were spent on his father's farm there till 1866 when his father purchased a store at Brownsville, Mich., and Ai assisted his father in the store. In 1870 the family removed to a farm in Blue Rapids, Kan.

He was married June 20, 1874, to Kate E. Francis, who was born May 9, 1854. They resided for a number of years in Blue Rapids. Mr. Davis then removed to Leavenworth, Kan., where his home now is at 811 Miami St. Since 1900 he has been in the employ of McKelli-Brown Co.

Nellie M., (Ai4, Seymour3, Jane2, John1) the second child of Ai S. and Kate E. Davis, was born Sept. 28, 1876, at Blue Rapids, Kan. She was married Oct. 25, 1892, to E. D. Lane.

Edith A. Davis Hazelgrove

Edith A. (Ai4, Seymour3, Jane2, John1) is the daughter of Ai S. and Kate E. Davis. Her birthday was July 9, 1878, and her birth place Blue Rapids, Kan. On Jan. 6, 1904, she became the bride of Arthur Hazelgrove.

Francis Seymour Davis

Francis S. (Ai4, Seymour3, Jane2, John1) is the son of Ai S. and Kate E. Davis. He was born July 18, 1880, at Blue Rapids, Kan. He is known by the name of "Frank." He was married to Emma Pearl Hendricks Mar. 25, 1901. Their home was in Leavenworth. Mrs. Davis died Nov.20, 1907, leaving two motherless boys who are being reared by their grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Ai S. Davis.
